Pause
Summer evening= Knitting+ baseball
I think of summer as a pause. For kids it’s the in-between time, before they are in the next grade, on to the next milestone. For academics it’s a time to reset, restore, and reflect before another year gets going again. This year my summer “pause” has felt very busy, managing work, preparing for the academic year ahead, and trying to spend as much time with my kids as I can (which mainly means being in full baseball mom mode). The days are long, but the summer is short.
I am not sure exactly what is in store for me for the upcoming academic year, but I am very excited to have the opportunity to experience and support the orientation for Harvard Law School LL.M. students, starting soon and running through August. It promises to be an intense learning experience. So as my pause is about to come to an end, I am going to put my blog on pause. I’ll be back here in the fall to continue to share insights from my journey! In the meantime, if there are topics you’d like to hear more about, don’t hesitate to be in touch. I always want to hear from you.
I will leave you with Elizabeth Rotolo’s recent feature of me and my work.
Enjoy the rest of this precious summer!
